Of Ann Arbor, MI, age 69, died Saturday, February 12, 2022, at her son's home in Pinckney. She was born March 9, 1952, in Wayne, Michigan, the daughter of Isaac “Paul” & Inez (Alaniz) Bacon. Carol work for Edwards Brothers in Ann Arbor for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On June 30, 1973, she married Larry E. Curtis in Southgate, MI, and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2000. Survivors include her five children, Garry Curtis of Pinckney, Kellyann Curtis-Cole of Hillsdale, Larry Curtis of Houston, TX, Terry Curtis, Deborah Harper of Wayne, MI; granddaughter Chelsea Cole, and six additional grandchildren; a brother, Paul Bacon; a sister, Cathy (Tom) Sleep; a special cousin, Claire Curtis; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held April 9, 10:00 a.m. at Freedom Evangelical Cemetery, at the corner of W. Ellsworth Rd. and Lima Center Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to the humane society or horse rescue of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Cole Funeral Chapel in Chelsea.
