of Chelsea, Michigan, age 83, died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Chelsea Retirement Community after a long illness.  She was born April 20, 1928 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the daughter of Harry & Veda (Young) Willsher.  Patricia worked as a secretary for Thurston Elementary in Ann Arbor.

She was a member of the Washtenaw County Cooperative Extension home study group, the Ann Arbor Power Squadron, and the Benzie County Snowmobile Club.  She and Russel built their own log home in Kaleva, Michigan, and enjoyed hunting, boating, and fishing.

On December 11, 1946, she married Russel E. Taylor in Ann Arbor, and he survives. Other survivors include a son, Stephen A. (Susan) Taylor; 2 grandsons, Christopher (Sarah) Taylor of Grass Lake, Mark (Megan) Taylor of Chelsea; 4 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Kylie, Dominik, Kain; 5 nieces, and 1 nephew.  She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amanda S. Taylor; 1 sister, Doris Vreeland; and a brother, Harry “Sonny” Willsher.

No public services will be held. Burial will be at Washtenong Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Arrangement by Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea.

I just learned of Pat's passing today. I served with Pat on the Marilla Twp. Planning Commission. She will be greatly missed.
